NeatSign is a free, secure web-based signature creator that works entirely locally — no registration required, no data stored on our servers. A Chrome extension is on the way.
We're building a Chrome extension that will let you sign forms directly on any website — right-click, select "Add Signature", and insert your signature into web forms. It isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet; this page will link to it the day it ships.

02Chrome extension (coming soon)
The NeatSign Chrome extension is still in development and is not yet available in the Chrome Web Store. Everything below describes how it will work when it ships. In the meantime, the web tool on the homepage covers the same job — create a signature, copy it, and paste it wherever you need it.

Is NeatSign really free?
Yes! NeatSign is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium features. You can create unlimited signatures without any cost.
Do you store my signature data?
No, we don't store any signature data. Everything happens in your browser locally. Your signatures are created and downloaded directly on your device without being sent to our servers.
Are NeatSign signatures legally binding?
A NeatSign signature image is legally usable under ESIGN/UETA in all 50 U.S. states when both parties consent and intent to sign is clear. The image is one part of an e-signature; the legal weight comes from the surrounding process and audit trail. Can I use my signature commercially?
Yes! You retain full ownership of signatures you create. You can use them for personal, professional, or commercial purposes without any restrictions.
Does NeatSign work on mobile devices?
Yes! NeatSign is fully responsive and works great on smartphones and tablets. You can draw signatures with your finger or use the type method for mobile-friendly signature creation.
What file formats are supported?
NeatSign offers three output options: Copy to clipboard for instant pasting, PNG files with transparent backgrounds for universal compatibility, and SVG files for scalable vector graphics. All formats work great for documents, emails, and forms.
Will the Chrome extension work offline?
Yes — the extension (coming soon, not yet in the Chrome Web Store) is designed to work completely offline. Once installed, you'll be able to create and insert signatures without an internet connection since all processing happens locally in your browser.
